Job Description:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for sales of sponsorship for executive-level renewable energy events and media solutions.
• Manage all phases of the business development process – prospecting, negotiation, contracting / invoicing, program implementation and ongoing relationship management
• Manage existing customer relationships while developing new ones by leveraging a proven engagement with corporate energy management and sustainability executives
• Create new customers with direct outreach through phone, e-mail, screen share sessions and personal visits with a database of contacts and new contacts you’ll generate
• Manage CRM system (Infusionsoft) and keep it current with all business development related activity
• Manage the sales pipeline for all products including sales forecasting
• Partner with team members to ensure customer success
• Manage digital media and event sponsor program execution and post-campaign / event reporting
• Lead development and execution of our marketing material, collateral, and messaging

Undergraduate 4-year degree required, MBA degree a plus
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in energy industry solution sales
Track record of meeting or exceeding goals
Solid time management skills and organized.
Able to multitask and manage competing priorities.
Superior oral, written, and presentation communication skills
Ability to work on multiple projects with minimal supervision
Proficient with email applications, MS Office, Presentation and Online collaboration software
Self-motivated, results oriented, ambitious professional who operates well in an empowered, dynamic, and fast-paced start up environment
