Events Coordinator Intern

Location: Jersey City, NJ, United States
We are looking for a part-time intern to assist in event management and organization for our networking events. Our events are hosted monthly in New York with an additional 6-8 events in various cities around the US and Canada. This internship will help develop skills in business, marketing, social media, and event planning in addition to gaining knowledge of the fast-growing renewable energy industry.

Assist with implementation of event marketing campaigns working in coordination with our CEO, Marketing Lead, and Operations Manager in preparing marketing advertising strategies, plans, and objectives as well as marketing communications campaigns around events.

  • Excellent interpersonal and client service skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in person and on the phone.
  • Strong people skills and a willingness to learn in a fast paced, growing organization.
  • Willingness to take on multiple levels of responsibility.
  • Ability to work with all levels of an organization, including owner and management.
  • Well organized; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously, often under tight deadlines.
  • Experience in retail and customer service highly preferred.
  • Good internet skills and ability to conduct research projects.
  • Excellent knowledge of social media
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Capable of organizing information and materials for clear and concise presentation and communication.
  • Excellent writing and proofreading.
  • Knowledge in marketing or campaigns.
