The Energy Storage Sales Manager (Western Region) is expected to develop sales leads and opportunities with major utilities, OEMs, and system integrators for advanced battery products in the North American energy storage market. Candidates should have a strong track record of leadership, communication and influencing skills. Lead new business development energy storage projects with project managers and post-sales team. Lead innovation strategy and screen new product and market opportunities. Investigate market needs for energy storage solutions and propose new or improved products and services to strengthen competitive edge and to grow the company's business. Development of strategic marketing concepts and implementation of brand strategies.
BA/BS degree, MBA a plus
10+ years of sales or business development experience with a solid technical understanding of energy storage, electric utilities market, power distribution, smart grid, and renewable energy.
Demonstrated effectiveness in “C” level and “VP” level sales
Demonstrated ability to grow and manage relationships with key accounts through solution & strategic selling.
Experience with contract negotiations, order development, price bidding, and sales contracts.
Experience developing and implementing a sales plan, budgeting, forecasting, and sales reporting for assigned market and territory.
Familiar with Microsoft Office and PowerPoint
