Work closely with marketing and engineering departments to develop customer accounts, industry partnerships and sales channels in targeted market segments.
Identify and act upon new business opportunities through continuous market research, industry networking, and customer contact.
Identify new product opportunities and provide market input and support throughout the product development life cycle.
Provide ongoing technical support to customers, product training, sales network and customer service department.
Respond to detailed requests for quotes, requests for pricing, requests for Information and other applicable customer needs within the requested deadline.
Assist with the preparation of sales literature, marketing collateral, application procedures, catalogs for new products.
Identify product improvements and cost reductions to meet changing customer or industry requirements and improve product line margins.
Keep current on industry trends and analyze competitive products and positioning on an ongoing basis.
BS Degree required, MBA a plus.
5+ years of technical sales or business development experience in utility scale solar market
Ability to effectively communicate in both verbal and written situations involving customers, industry partners, internal personnel and field sales service representatives.
Demonstrates strong planning and organizational skills along with technical aptitude
Possesses an understanding of PV solar systems
Ability to travel approximately 75% of the time
