Senior Asset Manager

The Senior Asset Manager will be responsible for the Operation and Maintenance of wind farms in the United State under Asset Management Agreements. Duties include:
  • Vigilant monitoring of active projects and implementation of suitable preventative maintenance programs
  • Engineering & Performance reviews and reports
  • Contract management of third party technical management entity as it relates to Wind Turbine operations and maintenance, including coordination with BOP maintenance contractor
  • Contract management of third party entity for technical management of Balance of Plant (BOP) infrastructure
  • Manage competitive solicitation process for parts and services
  • Produce daily, monthly, annually and other reports as needed for a variety of audiences
  • Ensure project permit and regulatory compliance
  • Point of contact for utility transmission owner and regional transmission operator for communications regarding project operations
  • Owner and investor reporting
  • BA/BS Degree (Engineering strongly preferred)
  • 3+ years wind asset management experience and excellent knowledge of wind turbine manufacturers
  • Experience with Electrical substation protocol and training in electrical safety protocols and procedures
  • Ability to use a safety harness
  • Knowledge of multi-state and federal government regulatory requirements related to wind development and operation.
  • Experience in analyzing and monitoring programs
  • Knowledge of sources and utilization of publicly available weather data sets
  • Proficient knowledge of general wind farm planning, construction and operation requirements
  • Hands-on experience in SCADA software
  • GIS user experience
  • Experience with Windographer, ArcView, Google Earth Pro
  • General knowledge of computer networks
  • Ability to program simple tools
  • Ability to travel 25-35% of the time
  • Strong professional, technical, communication and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English; second language beneficial but not required
