Engineering Manager

Job Description:
Will lead and manage a major engineering division with significant research and product development investments, multiple engineering projects and teams, and longā€range business impact.
Ensures that division engineering objectives, contractual requirements, and customer expectations are met, including required program scope, cost and schedule constraints. 
In charge of championing the division’s innovations and technology. 
Provides leadership and interaction with global partner divisions driving cross-division development, marketing and  product integration. 
Will guide development of conceptual design/information into new products and improvement of existing products.

· Bachelor's degree (BS) in engineering; Master's degree (MS or MBA) preferred.
· Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job with 12+ years of experience. Must have 4+ years of prior engineering leadership responsibility including management of multiple teams and projects.
· Comprehensive knowledge and overall understanding of multiple engineering fields and specialized
product/system integration requirements. Proficient with project management, engineering documentation, and engineering analysis tools.
· Demonstrated ability to assess and lead research and investment in new technologies.
· Ability to effectively influence the overall team and functional objectives. 
· Thorough knowledge of competitor and industry practices, government regulations, and internal policies.
· Recognized as an influential business partner and leader with strong facilitation skills and ability to communicate effectively to
varied audiences to gain support or resolve issues. 
· Ideal candidate will have experience in an environment developing power electronics.
