Job Description
This position is unique in its combination of business operations and solar expertise, the company works with commercial enterprises to deliver optimal energy solutions with compelling, long-term ROI. Expert in the dynamic legislative environment, we provide clients with real-time guidance in order to best leverage financial incentives at the regional and state levels.

Responsibilities
Developing and maintaining new and existing relationships with commercial real estate management companies and REITs, leading to solar project exploration and execution.
Working closely with clients to understand and manage substantive issues around financial, legal, energy and tax aspects of solar projects.
Ability to manage multiple live deals simultaneously, while developing and assessing others.
Developing, building and managing internal and external networks/relationships with strategic channel partners, service providers and existing clients.
Fostering an environment of cohesive teamwork that delivers best-in-class service and superior results to clients.
Desired Skills and Experience
Senior Business Development experience is a pre-requisite.
Commercial real estate experience required.
Commercial solar sales experience preferred.
Must be passionate about the renewable energy/sustainability industry.
In addition, the Business Development Director should possess:
Track-record of successfully executing complex transactions with multiple parties.
Understanding of project and structured finance.
Bachelor’s degree required.
