The Business Development Manager supports the power products team to identify and develop the business opportunities in the assigned accounts and long-term growth areas, across the region. The BDM will work cross department with technical support, marketing, and sales departments. The BDM will define, suggest and promote the developed target applications. The candidate must have very good understanding in the assigned vertical market and demonstrate high-level business proficiency.
Achieve the assigned quota for power vertical market and the assigned key accounts. Map the substation and smart-grid eco system and develop solution partners in the market. Identify, manage and clarify the expectations and requirements of power markets such as certification, report needs, longevity statements and other vertical market related documents. Develop and conduct application presentations, market seminars, road shows to promote power market. Be knowledgeable and provide proactive feedback on new markets and products, competitive information and technology trends.
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
Cisco CCNA is a plus.
5+ years experience in networking related industry and experience supporting sales in product marketing, sales engineering, or field applications in power marketing in the Latin American region.
Familiar with IEC 61850.
Fluency English and Spanish communication (both written and verbal)
Willing to travel to Mexico and South America frequently.
