The VP of Sales is the lead executive in charge of revenue for the company and will act as leader and manager for a growing team, creating the environment and processes to optimize their efforts and output. While managing and growing a sales team, the VP will also be responsible for origination and management of their own C&I Solar deals. This position reports directly to the CEO and is expected to make a significant impact on the company's top line revenue.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of sales experience in C&I solar with strong knowledge of the industry in multiple regions
- Player/Coach mentality with an emphasis on driving and closing sales while building strong and profitable teams.
- Manage and grow a team as a sales leader
- Create and optimize sales processes
- Bring a book of business/relationships and create new ones
- Act as solar and sales expert for the entire company
- Possess strong face-to-face sales skills, with proven track record of closing complex deals
- Comfortable with regional and national travel as required
