Vice President of Business Development

New York, NY
The VP of Business Development is the lead executive in charge of revenue for the company and will act as leader and manager for a growing team, creating the environment and processes to optimize their efforts and output. While  managing and growing a sales team, the VP will also be responsible for origination and management of their own C&I Solar deals. This position reports directly to the CEO and is expected to make a significant impact on the company's top line revenue. 

Responsibilities:
  • 5+ years of sales experience in C&I solar with strong knowledge of the industry in multiple regions
  • Player/Coach mentality with an emphasis on driving and closing sales while building strong and profitable teams.
  • Manage and grow a team as a sales leader
  • Create and optimize sales processes
  • Bring a book of business/relationships and create new ones
  • Act as solar and sales expert for the entire company
  • Possess strong face-to-face sales skills, with proven track record of closing complex deals
  • Comfortable with regional and national travel as required
