The Solar project Manager will be responsible for tracking and reporting budgets for projects, and measure financial and construction progress vs. budget, creating and managing the construction schedule to ensure that commitments to the customer are met, directing and managing the project life-cycle from preliminary planning to job close out, Hiring and managing sub-contractors, and monitoring vendor relationships, including managing product deliveries and payment terms.
Additionally you will be responsible for Preparing product selection submittals, updating job tracking, managing and documenting change orders, planning and scheduling project timelines and milestones, and proactively managing changes in scope, identifying potential crises and devising contingency plans.
You will have experience with Commercial scale projects.
- 3 - 5 years' experience with Utility and commercial projects ranging from 1 MW to 50 MW
- Ability to travel to site 3/5 days a week
- Valid Drivers license
- Understanding of how to prepare and submit permit packages.
- They must have the ability to interpret building and NEC codes and utility requirements.
