Technical Asset Manager

Responsibilities 
The Technical Manager will oversee operations of clean energy portfolios in the U.S. comprising solar, wind and battery storage assets. The Technical Manager will support the M&A team by coordinating technical diligence for project acquisition, financing, or sale. Support will also be provided to the Project Development team for key technical inputs. They will manage Performance Engineers, Subcontractors for site operations and M&A technical due diligences.
Monthly project reviews & reporting to HQ Management, Lenders and Tax Equity:
Consolidation of project’s KPIs for performance reviews. Comparison of project performance against budget and delta analysis reporting.
Reporting of project downtime losses, mitigation strategies formulated, and status of mitigation plans implemented.
Review of Year-to-date and Last-thirteen-month data.
Review of monthly Operation and Maintenance subcontractor activities as per O&M Contracts.
Review of HSE status for all projects.
If any, reporting of any out of compliance issues with applicable entities (e.g. NERC/SERC), and progress towards compliance. 
Project performance reviews. Budget delta analysis.
Review of reporting project deadlines & delivery assurance.  
Quality assurance of production data reporting for the financial reporting team or subcontractor.
Contracts management / disputes resolution and evaluation of the vendors’ performances
Lead Technical Due Diligence either internally or through third party subcontractors. Including:
In depth review of Energy Yield Assessments.
Provide business model reviews of technical inputs and support for modeling.
Support in Opex structuring and project lifetime extension modeling.
Support the Development team with the Technical assessment of main operational inputs, reviewing internal and third-party estimates.
Support in EPC and O&M bid reviews and selection.
Support the construction process of new facilities reviewing technical progress.
Oversee project handover through Commissioning into Operation.

Education
BA/BS Electrical and/or Renewable energy preferred
More than 5 relevant (within the field of Engineering and/or Asset Management services for Solar PV and/or Wind Power projects).
PVsyst; advanced Excel; MS Office; basic programming skills, SCADA, monitoring software
