The Project Manager develops customer satisfaction metrics, monitors customer feedback and develops strategies to improve overall satisfaction and will maintain and develop client relationships.
You will be responsible for engaging Clients for current and future services while providing overall project management of specific client contracts including proposal preparation, developing and monitoring schedules, setting and monitoring project milestones, allocating and managing people resources as well as stakeholder communication and budget tracking.
The Project Manager will manage day-to-day internal project meetings, prepare reports, presentations, studies, applications, standard proposals and bids for Managing Director review, perform quality assurance on all documents prior to MD review, lead client studies such as Site Selection, Permitting and Compliance Matrices, and Technical Permitting, and lead Stakeholder Engagement sessions for specific clients and projects.
Additionally you will collaborate with internal team members and external consultants to complete multi-disciplinary deliverables, mentor Analyst team on project management and provide oversight and quality control for work
developed by Analysts while ensuring analyst work is within approved budget, and maintain knowledge of industry policy and trends and provide input to the Managing Director on Strategy and Business Development.
- Bachelor or Masters degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or Project Management
- In depth knowledge of Canadian regulatory utility frameworks, particularly AB
- In depth knowledge of the Renewable Energy Industry in Canada, particularly Canadian Wind and Solar markets.
- Power Market Analysis
- Project Management skills, including prioritization, due diligence, scheduling, budgeting, analysis, and proposal preparation.
