Assistant Construction Manager

The Assistant Construction manager will be responsible for tracking and reporting budgets for projects, and measure financial and construction progress vs. budget, creating and managing the construction schedule to ensure that commitments to the customer are met. Directing and managing the project life- cycle from preliminary planning to job close out, The Senior PM will have complete EPC oversight and monitoring vendor relationships, including managing product deliveries and payment terms.

Additionally be responsible for preparing product selection submittals, updating job tracking, managing and documenting change orders, planning and scheduling project timelines and milestones, and proactively managing changes in scope, identifying potential crises and devising contingency plans. QA/QC on our active solar installations

  • Bachelor’s degree: a relevant advanced degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience with utility and commercial solar projects ranging from 1 MW to 50 MW
  • Familiarity of Installation Codes & Standards, and other governing standards for design of rooftop, ground mount, C&I and utility scale solar PV systems
  • Extensive knowledge of output, performance and reliability factors of various commercially available PV modules and inverters
  • Field experience in installation, startup and commissioning
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients of all disciplines
  • Highly proficient in reading and interpreting all design, development and construction documents, specifications, and bids, and recommending necessary changes or additions
  • Ability to travel to site 3/5 days a week
  • Valid Driver's License
