As Financial Products Manager you will be responsible for strategic leadership of Solar point of sale transactions and products to grow the business and improve operational efficiency while working within a cross functional team. You will own the financial products roadmap and develop sales offerings and solutions while also being responsible for conducting market analysis and driving alignment across the leadership team to set, prioritize, and specify requirements for new financial products. You will come with a deep understanding of Solar finance and consumer relationship building while targeting new channel partnerships to enhance service offerings.
Additionally you will be responsible for driving the product vision and roadmap for financial products, collaborating with and creating buy-in from both to the leadership and broader team for the product vision, managing market and customer research processes to inform and develop product strategy, working with financial institutions in the development and rollout of financial products, identify areas of new applications in key markets and make business cases to support their development, pilot, launch, and scale new offerings, and collaborating with company and other Standard Industries organizations as required.
5-7 years of proven work experience developing and deploying consumer financial products
Knowledge of consumer finance regulations
An understanding of product development methodologies and processes
Experience with owning and managing financial product roadmaps
Strong project management capabilities and success delivering new ideas from concept all the way through to installation plan set
Ability to work across multiple departments to form cross-functional teams as needed for individual projects
