As Head of Sales you will be an integral part of the sales and marketing division within a leading inverter manufacturing company focused on Residential sales and development. You will Establish strong distribution and installer network within the Americas and plan sales and marketing initiatives to meet the budget, build close relationships with distribution partners and installers to enhance sales volume and customer service, and assure that strategic and country operation plans, major product launches, and key programs are properly planned, executed and managed.
You will manage the development and deployment of evolving distribution strategies, coordinate the adoption and implementation of new business, from concept development to market introduction in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, be responsible for local sales resources to a proper use of Salesforce, create a culture of success with global divisions and local team to ensure goals are met, and be responsible for directing sales activities in the assigned sales channel to achieve performance goals.
Additionally you will provide continual training, development and motivation of distribution partners, installers and local team, work closely with the marketing team to establish marketing and communications materials, prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts, be immersed in the market to monitor and understand industry trends, and provide accurate sales forecasts.
- 5 years experience in a Sales management position
- 3+ years experience in a technical sales focused role with a focus on Inverter sales.
- Existing network of installers, developers, and channel partners in Solar industry.
